Ha Ha ha ha hah.
Never under-estimate the old man.
The contrast in tone is an intentional campaign decision and an example of the ‘change’ that John McCain will be presenting to the voters.
While the enthusiasm of the democrats has reached a zenith and will level off, Senator McCain is presenting himself as the grass roots underdog insurgent and he has left himself room to show a growing interest in his message. (I am so poor and humble, how can I ever compete with the mighty Goliath of the Democratic Party?)
I can’t believe that I am the only pundit who can see the gathering storm of this strategy.
