13 years ago, marvel, itself drove me away from their line of comics. let alone hollywood.
and now i see your video. talking heads that don’t know JACK about comics in general, let alone iron man.
we wuz THERE, man. i still got my tales of suspense issues. not gonna go see iron man that ain’t iron man. i didn’t go see spiderman, either.
hell, hollywood even boogered 1989/batman. AND superman. god help us if they ever get hold of Dr. Strange.
it took longer for DC. i stopped buying batman as of 12/2000. DC let marketing take over as opposed to letting the story/art sell the book.
i occasionally see odd issuses of mainstream titles when i make a bulk buy. comics now is $3 apiece. i can make bulk buys for as little as 10 cents. true i have to buy an entire box and cherry pick for back issues to fill holes in my collection, but i always manage to sell the remainders at a slight profit.
i do scan some of the ‘current’ mainstream titles before i resell my culls. a little “mind candy” with wine and cheeze in the evenings. at 10 cents apiece, they worth at least that amount of my attention.
the machine at work is the only place i can view your blog videos.
your trailer sorta reminded me of ‘Rocketeer’ for obvious reasons
