You know.....
I was thinking more about this post, and although I am a big fan of Mark Shields, his comments were an excellelent example of media bias against Hillary Clinton.

Because she has fallen behind in the voting, her campaign planning is then equated to the worst foreign policy decision by this country in the last 100 years and therefore she is guilty by association. Many other candidates were in the race and have not been as successful as she has been but they were not described as having no policy after the fall of Baghdad. Al Gore could not win his home state in 2000, but Hillary personally killed 4,000 American G.I.s.

Not an original thought in the entire post. Your commentary is a redux of everthing I have heard already on the Cable TV.

You once told me that if Senator Obama didn't win the nomination that you would consider voting for Rudy Giuliani instead, and now I see that you are using him as a bad example.

And I believe that you supported the war in Iraq before you were against it. You were one of the many in this country that believed that if a president was ready to commit this country to war, then he must have inside knowledge that is not available to the general public.

Well I remember the last time their was a popular movement in the election process among the emerging evangelical christian conservatives and they were able to sweep their candidate into office in 2000, and quite frankly I resent the suspension of disbelief of the american electorate that is occurring again this year with the naive support of Senator Obama and his evangelical message of hope. I long for a middle ground that is based in intellect and not emotion.

Dangerous trends have overtaken our election process. An evangelist leader is bad when he is proselytizing another viewpoint, but an evangelist leader is good when he represents your church.

Hillary was the first student at her college chosen to give the commencement address at her own graduation. When she finished there followed a seven minute standing ovation. That summer she worked her way across Alaska at various canneries. When she brought unfair working conditions to the attention of Cannery owners in Valdez, Alaska, the owner decided to shut down and go out of business. (wikipedia)

OK. the way i read it you seem to be 'emerging' as an O'bama man. (i spelt it that way so it might appeal to the irish vote...)

but, don't count hillary out yet. like the man said, "it ain't over 'till it's over..."

and political deals are ALWAYS made.

but YESTERDAY, i got woke up from a mid-morning SEE-esta by a recorded telemarketing call from hillary. telemarketers/calls from same the best most easiest way to piss me off. forever.

and quite honestly, i thought you'd be a hillary man... PLEASE excuse my ignorance...

and by the way, just as a courtesy to an old friend, don't forget to renew your 'do not call' status with telemarketers by the end of the month. if you need the 888 number to call, i can send it to you. i had to register same this morning for the company cell fone they make me wear.
yes, i know damn near every telemarketing firm in the world has learned how to qualify for 'exempt' status.

i know a lady who owns a telemarketing company... she handles only 'exempt' customers for her business...

i figure texas could go either way and ohio goes marginally for O'bama. what you think?

this morning's cowtown diaper mentioned an old friend of yours, nader, running again...
